Within the CRM we keep things consistent wherever possible, to make it simple to use (e.g. searching and sorting behaves in the same way whether you are looking at candidates or clients).
Two attributes that are consistent across much of the system are consultant ownership and whether a record is active or disabled, and so there is a global filter to help manage this in the same way across every screen.
It can be found in the top navigation bar, to the left of the global search bar, and looks something like this when you hover over it (depending on the current settings):

The Options:
-
Show All – show records owned by all consultants (if any consultant teams are present, this will be a dropdown: selecting a team name will show records owned by consultants in that team)
-
Show Mine – only show records owned by the currently logged in consultant. This is a dropdown and allows you to show records owned by any other consultant in the system
-
Active – only show active records (don’t include disabled/inactive)
-
Inactive – only show inactive/disabled records (don’t include active records)
-
All – show both active and inactive records
| The main icon at the top of the menu indicates the current state of the filters (in the above case, _Show Mine | Active_). |
On some screens the options will differ where it doesn’t make sense: for example in the message templates screen, you can’t view other consultant templates – so Show All is the only option in the consultant filter.
